'Palco' is the name by which this large industrial 5000sqm building has been known for in the last decades, named after the company that until the 1980th was the larges Greek producer of underwear and t-shirts. Through the economic changes in the 1980th and manufacturing migrating out of Greece, the building became one of the prominent remains of the area's industrial past. Now, the building as well as the area is embarking onto a new direction to become one of Athens upcoming contemporary cultural centres with museums, galleries and contemporary living creating a rich cultural mix of urban life. The building is currently undergoing a dramatic transformation into a mix-use complex with a variety of large contemporary residential lofts situated on the upper floors and a cultural centre - The Hub Events - on the ground floor.
