XXYYXX & Giraffage & Slow Magic & Beat Culture

XXYYXX (usa, Orlando, Relief in Abstract)

XXYYXX is the name of Orlando, FL’s 16 year old producer, Marcel Everett. Marcel works out of his bedroom creating harmonious music that provokes emotion and transmits vivid images of peace and still sadness. His music has been featured on XLR8R, The Needle Drop, Earmilk, Indie Shuffle, BIRP and many more.

GIRAFFAGE (usa, San Francisco, Alpha Pup)

Giraffage is the creation of 21-year old multi-instrumentalist/producer Charlie Yin of San Francisco, California. The general sound of Giraffage is described as a weaver of refreshingly crisp electro dream pop tunes that thread their way through loose-knit grooves and tightly-toothed rhythms. Gaining inspiration from things as diverse as dreams or the weather, Giraffage evokes a woozy yet familiar mood that is sure to stimulate your eardrums and leave you feeling a sense of nostalgia and melancholy.

SLOW MAGIC (usa, unknown, LebensStrasse)

Slow Magic is the sound made by an unknown imaginery friend.

BEAT CULTURE (usa/South Korea)

Beat Culture is 20-year old Sunik Kim, who, simply put, creates experimental electronic pop music, incorporating sampled pianos, ghostly vocals and synths that recall the “Wall of Sound” typically found in shoegaze. You can hear a slight influence of James Blake, SBTRKT, and My Bloody Valentine. From Seoul and attending college in the USA, Beat Culture creates pieces that consist of catchy phrases and atmospheric beats that invoke a wide range of emotions.
